PRESCRIPTION FOR TOPVEIN:
Topvein is now in capsule form and each bottle contains 35 capsules.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTION FOR USE:
1 – 2 capsules daily after supper or about bedtime or as recommended by physician.
TOPVEIN capsules are indicated in adolescents, adult men and women, elderly and people with chronic illness. People on long term medications, alcoholics, cigerate smokers and people under stress or with poor eating habits can be given TOPVEIN capsules.
This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
It has been found that overstimulation is caused by the usage of Topvein, due to its interaction with caffeine that the patient might be having, resulting in acute insomnia. Also, in patients with congestive heart failure, Topvein is known to react with digoxin, and exacerbate its effects. Topvein is also known to interact with phenelzine, which is an antidepressant, causing a range of symptoms from manic episodes to headaches. In addition, Topvein is likely to interact with Coumadin, an anticoagulation drug.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
Hypersensitive may occur if the patient is taking other preparations containing vitamins. The patient should not take more than the recommended dose instructed by the physician.
For patients who are on oral prescription medications to lower blood sugar levels (Type 2 diabetes), it is important to inform their physician before commencing a regimen of Topvein products. This is because Topvein can potentially lower blood sugar levels and this can get exacerbated if the patient continues to take regular prescription medicine for the condition along with Topvein. Since Topvein can worsen bleeding problems following invasive surgery, it is recommended that it should be discontinued prior to any abdominal or dermatology surgeries.
Dental extraction, too, would be risky if a patient is on Topvein, and hence, to avoid any Topvein side effect of excessive bleeding, Topvein is to be discontinued in this case also.
The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) states that Topvein should not be taken by people with hypertension (high blood pressure) since it is likely that Topvein can have variable effects on blood pressure. Some patients experience hypertension and some experience hypotension.
Do note, however, that extracts in Topvein have also been used to alleviate and treat hypertension – discretion will have to be exercised and personal choice made by the individual.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
TOPVEIN is indicated in pregnancy and lactation, only if recommended by the physician.
TOPVEIN capsules are extremely well tolerated and does not cause any significant side effects.
